Super solid - super sharp.
This knife is awesome, I've used it on some veggies and meats and have had 0 issues. It feels well-balanced in the hand and feels premium - would make a good gift but be aware it doesn't come in any kind of gift packaging, just a plastic bag/container. It looks like it could easily be re-sharpened and used for generations to come. I have some other German-made blades in the kitchen and they're also awesome.

I own a lot of knives, bit of a collector. I have several Japanese and German blades, and this one fits right in with the best of them at a fraction of the cost. Excellent choice and quality steel, built right and seems to hold the edge very well, thus far. Packaged well, with the tip well secured in the package and for removal from package. This has become my go to steak knife and works well as a filet knife. Highly recommend if you like quality, excellent design and sharp knives at the ready in your kitchen.
